Put your cape on byotch, we’re goin’ hustlin’.

Okay, I’m not Regina George. I’m more of a Ms. Norbury. The one person who tries to help others and occasionally pisses people off.

And this might be the moment you report me as a fake drug dealer, because you aren’t going to like what I have to say…

Your ADHD might feel like a curse most days, and that’s totally normal.

It’s a disability, after all.

I won’t repeat it for those who don’t go here—this trust fall is between you and me. As a lifelong thriver with ADHD, I’ve learned there are so many ways a small business owner can thrive with ADHD. Here are some ways:

It’ll feel like you’re trying to control a pack of rabid high school girls at first, but I promise the trust fall scene comes sooner than you think).

Don’t be a fugly byotch—creating even a simple routine can help your brain slow down and focus on the simple things.

Don’t be a Cady and try to fit in with the neurotypicals. No one says you HAVE to brush your teeth in the morning…1pm will work just as well. Promise.

When you come to terms with the fact you can’t “fix” your brain to be like everyone else, the sooner you can dive into resources and self-care that makes it feel survivable.

While a diagnosis and meds can help, try some supplements like Magnesium, Vitamin D, and Potassium. I’m no doctor, but I know they helped my brain chill.

Journaling can work wonders. Vent about your struggles. Write about your goals. Keep track of your successes and lessons from failures, so you can look back and see how you grow over time.

I love the movie Mean Girls—I don’t know of a single person who doesn’t—
